Limited Kit Shipping Test Run
Hey Folks! I'm going to jump through everything pretty quickly tonight.
Kit Shipping Test Run
I am currently preparing three kits for our shipment test run. These kits will be going out Friday or Saturday. There might be a fourth kit going out but that is still up in the air.
These should not be considered "100% finalized" kits. This test run is to make sure our shipping process is working smoothly and that kits are being received without any major issues, technical or otherwise. Some kits will contain V2 prototype parts as well as standard V1 parts.
Once the kits reach their destinations, I will be coordinating with the recipients to go over assembly, software, QA, etc. We will make any necessary adjustments and then start ramping up shipping quantities.
Interface Files
I am currently uploading the Mugsy interface files as well as the remaining API and runtime code. I'm doing a quick looky looky over each file before pushing so I expect everything will be up within 24-48 hours. I will be releasing a code run down and dev examples once everything is pushed.
You can start digging into it here: https://github.com/margyle/MugsyDev/tree/master/interface
*Mugsy's interface will eventually be 100% template based but currently runs on standard HTML/PHP/JS
Open Source Licensing
I have a poll up to see where everyone's head is at on which open source license we should use for the Mugsy runtime and Decaf API. This poll is not binding and only meant to be a starting point for moving towards a final decision. Please vote and share your thoughts. If you do not have a preference, please do not vote.
You can find the poll here: https://community.heymugsy.com/t/open-source-license-poll/342
*One thing to note is that devs will be able to release closed source plugins, apps, etc to the Mugsy community pages. This license is only for the runtime and API.
Ok, thats it for tonight. Next update will be on Friday!
Cheers!
