Hey folks, I wanted to use tonight’s update to cover some of the batch related questions that have popped up over the last week.

The Bits

• Batches will default to 10-12 units per batch, with the goal of shipping 1-2 batches per week. If we can increase total batches per week, we will. But it’s not something being considered for the immediate future.

• CA, EU units will start going out by order # starting in batch 3.

• A few people have requested a break down of what orders are in which batch (for the entire run). I think this a fair request and one I am happy to put together but it will not be for at least week or two. I can probably get more numbers up sooner if I just do the first 5-10 batches (batches of batches!).

• With exposing more batch data, the complexity of the worksheet increases. I want to be careful to not create another situation where the worksheets just add more uncertainty. I also want to make sure that I’m not spending more than a few minutes a week updating it. So yes, more date and more visibility, but the priority will be to keep it streamlined and easy to manage.

• This update’s info will be combined with last night’s blog update and published on the KS page by tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday 11/10).

• The next proper shipping update will be on Wednesday night. If timing works out, I will share some shipment confirmations when posting the blog updates to KS tomorrow. If nothing new is posted, keep an eye out for the Wednesday night update.
