Hey folks! Let’s get to it:

Shipping:

•  We are still 1-2 weeks away from shipping any units.  Progress has continued to be slower than I would like.

•  I am confident that we will be shipping very soon and will have additional confirmation on timelines in this weekend’s update.

OS/Frontend

•  While tying up shipping loose ends, I have been making significant updates to the front end. The front end is now a single page React (w/ Redux) app written in Typescript. The backend is still Python/Flask.

• React has its issues, and it’s not a perfect framework. But, when combined with Redux and Typescript, it really can be a pleasure to work with. Once you get those types sorted…

•  These changes have resolved the somewhat disorganized structure that was obvious in the first iterations of the front end. It will allow for easier and more consistent development, testing and overall project management.  

•  These changes will hit the repo sometime this weekend and the update will include a rundown of the entire app.

Admin

• I am grinding through emails but there are still 10-12 I have not yet hit. I will get to these as soon as possible.

The next update will be Saturday or Sunday. If there is something good to report before then I will let everyone know ASAP.
