Hey folks, gonna jump right in tonight.

Color Selection Form

The form is now up for those of you who would like to select a different enclosure color. 

There are now three official Mugsy colors:

  • White

  • Seafoam Green

  • Red

"Official" is the important word here. When you see Argyle Labs/Mugsy created marketing, exhibitions, retail presence or whatever else - these are the colors that you'll see. It's important that I stick with my design instincts and I believe less is almost always more.

But don't fret if you have a different vision for your own Mugsy. Lot's of you had great ideas for different color schemes and you will be able to get add on panels in almost any color or combination from the web store. They just won't be "official" Mugsy color schemes and they won't show up on the Mugsy order form moving forward. 

Anyone who has preordered on the site or through the kickstarter campaign will still get the unofficial colors for no additional charge. 

So, if you want to make a custom color selection, choose "other" on the form. I will then email you at some point this week with a link to another form that is set up for color combos. 

You do not need to fill out this form if you do not want to change you enclosure color! All shipments default to the original white enclosure unless there is an overriding form entry.

***Please note that the RGB lighting only works with the white panels. Do not change your color if you want to use this functionality.****

  • Today I prepped parts for assembling pour over mechanisms. Here are some laser cut top panels:

  • I have received an additional 40 units of the new power supplies. I expect to receive another 100 over the next week.

  • There seems to be an issue with some of the laser files that are currently on the main github. They are not importing correctly and I'm not quite sure what's up. If you are attempting to laser cut some panels from those files, please give me a day or two to re-upload them. This issue only affects the repo and is not related to Mugsy order assembly/fulfillment.

  • This will be the last update of 2018!
