Hey Folks, hope all is well out there! I wanted to give a quick update on shipping before we head out for the holiday tomorrow.

This afternoon I started packing up new kits. I was not able to get them packed before the UPS pick up cut off so they will be going out on Friday.

I have extrusions and some parts for 12 units ready to go with enough time to pack up an additional 12 on Friday. I do have to do some panel cutting on the laser for these kits but started on that this evening.

I spent a while going over timing and resources today and it looks like 24 units is a good conservative estimate for daily output. Packing is broken down into two sessions, the first is pulling inventory, organizing it and testing as needed. The second session is boxing everything up.

So moving forward, I think shipping output looks like this:

Pack units for two days and ship those 48 units on the third day.
The third day will also be the first day of the next cycle so we will start packing up the next batch of 24 units.
The plan will be to always hit at least 2 complete cycles for a minimum of 96 units per week.
If things are humming along and we are able to hit a third cycle by shipping on the next Monday, we will do it. But I want to keep the estimates conservative and manageable so I'm sticking with two cycles as our goal.

Going by these estimates we should be able to ship all remaining units(KS and Web) in 7 weeks. There is some wiggle room added in there for a safety buffer. I have also paced my output hours conservatively so if I have to work on a day job project or have some other requirement, it should not impact output significantly.

For the 12 units that are currently getting ready to ship, the status in Deep Dive has been updated to "Outbound Shipment In Progress". On Friday I will update an additional 12 units to this status. If we have spoken and I told you you were in the next batch but you do not see this status yet, don't fret. Check Deep Dive again on Friday and you should see your shipment update.

Ok, that is all for new shipments right now. I will be sending out another update on Friday with confirmation on these 24 units as well as additional shipping info for sorted/sorting units, code news and some new pics.

I will be offline all day tomorrow and will not be responding to emails until Friday. I still have about 11 emails I have not yet had a chance to respond to. I will try to get to some of those tonight but the remaining ones will be hit first thing on Friday.
