Software Quickie: Part 2
Hey folks! Here are today’s important bits:
Code
I have continued grinding through the React/Redux conversion and release. I am currently pushing reducers, types and un-styled components. Once completed, I will convert the styling from the current Bootstrap styling to the bootstrap-react syntax. There will be several more hours (10-14) before this is completed. I expect to have the bulk of it done by tomorrow eve with the left overs being finished up by the end of this upcoming week.
For the V1 release, there will be two versions, Mainline and Dev. At launch, Mainline will include the following functionality:
User settings
Machine Settings
Drag/Drop Recipe Builder
Brew Cycle
Coffee Scanning
Pour Designer
REST API with auth
RFID brewing (multi user)
Coffee Now Integration (launch will include Alexa, Electron App, SMS, iOS, Android, Slack, Terminal)
Standalone functions: Grind, Kettle/hot water dispensing
Dev will include all of the above functionality, plus in progress or in testing versions of:
ML Brew Improver
Community Recipes
Kitchen Timer
Additional Coffee Now integrations
Basic tool set for custom hardware and software
Plugin Repo
The Dev list is in flux and you will see additional features added as I finalize the OS release.
As mentioned in yesterday’s update, you can find the repo for the React front end here: github.com/margyle/mugsyReact
Ok, that is all for now. Shipping update will be going out tomorrow night (Monday). I will also include an update on what OS work was completed since this update.
Thanks!
