Update!

Hey folks, hope all is well out there. Here are the bits:

  • Operator middleware repo ( https://github.com/MugsyOS/Operator ) has been updated with the Mug Platform weight service. Non-Mugsy pin control routes have been moved out of the status routes and into their own section. Pushed some additional fixes related to asyncio.sleep to make timers non-blocking. A few more pushes are required to:

    • add back in Auth

    • set the weight routes to accept an option for which weight you want to work with, pour weight or grind weight

    • service installation scripts so RFID, Weight and Watchtower services start on boot

  • License has been added to the repo: Mozilla Public License Version 2.0

  • Next area of focus is launching Cloud Control, with an ETA of Wednesday the 22nd. Initial release will be limited to those on the beta list with general release the following week if there are no major issues.

  • As of the 22nd, I will start prepping DECAF for public release, should be good to before the end of the month.

  • Im targeting the 15th of June for being able to ship something. There is not much left but Im trying to add some buffer as it’s really difficult to estimate with some of the pending completions. I don’t see this being pushed out by much, but this ETA will get firmer over the next 2 weeks.

  • Frontend code release is not scheduled yet but will happen before 6/15.

  • There are also a couple of one day tasks I will be hitting over the next 2 weeks:

    • Additional revision to the primary PCB

    • Microcontroller code release

    • BOM completion and release

    • Confirming which open source license I will be using for PCBs and CAD files.

  • I will have a short status update going out on Wednesday the 15th.

Cheers!
