Stepping Stones
Hey Folks, hope all is well out there. Let's get to it!
As mentioned in the last update, we are able to devote a bit more time to Mugsy with each new day. Here is what has been hit and what the next few days look like.
Build Manual: I'm back on the manual and now working through the wiring instructions and descriptions. A lot of these graphics were done a while back so the majority of the work is on copy. Over the next 72 hours I will be able to allocate 5-6 hours to the manual.
Codebase: Although I have not yet hit the software myself this week, we had a fairly significant upgrade to the DECAF API codebase. Big thanks to community member @etimoz for converting DECAF to use SQLite(and some other sweet fixes!). The API no longer requires a local MySQL server which greatly simplifies set up and portability. I should be able to allocate at least 4 hours to Mugsy OS over the next 72 hours. You can check out the recent updates on the DECAF repo here: https://github.com/margyle/decaf
Shipping Bits
Deep Dive profiles have started updating and 100% will be completed before end of day tomorrow.
There is an opportunity to ship a small batch of units on Saturday but these may not go out until Monday.
I will finally be getting back to the Mugsy storage unit for the first time on Saturday or Sunday. This is when I will be taking pics for an inventory run down as promised in previous updates. This content will be the focus of the next update.
I expect that we are still 7-10 days from starting to make significant and measurable progress on shipments and deliveries.
Ok, that is all for tonight. The next update will be the first long form update in a while. Shooting for Sunday night but giving myself to Monday so there is some buffer just in case. I will be sharing any pics/vids that are available on the social channels on Sunday either way, so keep an eye out for those.
Thanks and have a great night and weekend!
Cheers,
-m
